Award Categories

Category A:  Total B2B Campaigns    

Each entry must be a coordinated business campaign to support products, a group of products, a division or a company. Entries must include at least three of the following elements:

Magazine advertising Outdoor advertising
Sales literature TV advertising
Direct marketing
Internet advertising
Sales promotion/merchandising materials Video production
Public relations Interactive media
Trade show marketing Search engine marketing
Radio advertising Newspaper advertising
A1 Campaigns for which production and media costs exceeded $250,000 during a 12-month period    
A2 Campaigns for which production and media costs were between $50,000 and $250,000 during a 12-month period    
A3 Campaigns for which production and media costs are less than $50,000 during a 12-month period    


Category B:  B2B Advertising Campaigns    

Campaigns must support products, a division or a company. All ads must have a common objective, audience and strategy. Entries must include at least two representative advertisements and may be submitted in the following categories:

B1 Print ad campaigns (fractional, full-page or spreads) of at least two ads    
B2 TV, radio or outdoor campaigns of at least two ads    


Category C:  Single B2B Advertisements    

Individual advertisements of any size may be entered in the following categories:

C1 Print ad (fractional, full-page or spreads)    
C2 TV, radio or outdoor ad    


Category D:  Digital Marketing    
Entries must be submitted as a live web link for viewing or a link to an FTP site for viewing for websites and elements with motion graphics. All others may be submitted as a PDF. For Web site entries, please provide a home page and up to three additional pages and reference the active URL on your entry form.  Video submissions can be podcasts, product demonstrations, training, corporate overviews, etc. Please edit length to the best or most representative five-minute segment. The program should either run automatically upon opening or provide clear instructions on how to run the program. If a program does not run, or the link fails to work, it will not be judged. For Pay-Per-Ciick campaigns, please provide the key search terms and campaign details. Clearly summarize marketing results in your written entry through Web tracking reports or search engine rankings. NOTE: If a link fails to work, it will not be judged. Entries may be submitted in the following categories:

D02 Website targeted landing page    
D03 Website - under $25,000    
D04 Website - $25,001 - $50,000    
D05 Website - $50,000+    
D06 Webinar or other online event    
D07 Banner advertising    
D08 Online video or podcast    
D09 Promotional email, single    
D10 Promotional email, series/campaign    
D11 Promotional site (microsite)    
D12 Integrated Online Campaign (minimum of 3 different digital medias)    
D13 Mobile marketing    
D14 Pay-Per-Click (single B2B ad)    
D15 Pay-per-click (campaign)    
D16 SEO - campaign site/microsite support    
D17 SEO - corporate website    


Category E:  Multimedia and Video Presentations    

Entries must be submitted either as a Web link or a link to an FTP site for viewing. Submissions can be podcasts, product demonstrations, training, corporate overviews, etc. Please edit length to the best or most representative five-minute segment. The program should either run automatically upon opening or provide clear instructions on how to run the program. If a program does not run, or the link fails to work, it will not be judged. Entries may be submitted in the following categories:

E1 Promotional presentations (new service, product, etc.)    
E2 Corporate overview presentation

Category F:  Social Media    

Entries must be submitted with both screen shots and a guest/judge login and password to view the social medium where needed to view the full entry. NOTE: If a link fails to work, it will not be judged. Entries may be submitted in the following categories:

F1 Facebook page/tab    
F2 YouTube page    
F3 Twitter    
F4 LinkedIn    
F5 Blog    
F6 Online event/contest    
F7 Advertising (single or campaign)    
F8 Integrated social media campaign (must integrate 3 or more social media channels)    


Category G:  Annual Reports    


Category H:  Newsletters / Magazines    

Includes pieces to an internal or external audience: employees, suppliers, channel partners, etc. Includes both print and electronic formats, soft and hard-binding for print.

H1 External newsletter/magazine

Category I:  Branding or Re-Branding    

Campaigns or activities that differentiate a company from its competition.

I1 Corporate branding campaign    
I2 Product branding campaign    
I3 Corporate Identification Program    

Each I3 entry must include at least three of the following elements:

Letterhead / envelope Business card
Note card / envelope Web site design


Category J:  Product Literature / Collateral Material (print or electronic)    

Includes promotional literature supporting a single product or group of products. For electronic version submissions, please include a live link to the brochure or catalog. NOTE: If a link fails to work it will not be judged.

Category K:  Direct Mail    
K1 Single piece. Printed only, flat or dimensional. B&W or color.    
K2 Campaigns or two or more mailings, flat or dimensional. B&W or color.    


Category L:  Promotional Product Material    
L1 Product packaging or design    
L2 Printed materials, posters, calendars, incentives, sales and reseller kits.    
L3 Point of purchase materials    


Category M:  Public Relations    

Coordinated public relations must support products, a division or a company.

Category N:  Trade Show or On-Premise Exhibits / Displays    
N1 Small exhibits, 10x10 to 10x20 (typically in-line or linear exhibits)    
N2 Large exhibits, 10x40 (inline or large island / peninsula exhibits)    
N3 Permanent on-premise exhibit (one-site or multiple locations)    
N4 Rolling/transportable exhibits    


Category O:  Pro Bono (B2B only)    


Category P:  B2B Self-Promotion    

This includes a company’s self-promotional advertising, direct marketing or other campaigns or single communications.
