BMA-Colorado is a volunteer-driven organization ... We can't exist without your help! The best way to get the most out of your membership is to get involved. Serving on a BMA committee is a great way to meet new friends and colleagues, learn more about BMA, and have fun.

Committee Descriptions
BMA Marketplace
The committee looks for new opportunities to produce revenue using ecommerce to market BMA Colorado products and services (such as books, posters, etc) or by developing new products or services.
CareerLink
This committee can use assistance in identifying potential employers, continuing to make our site user-friendly, and developing ideas to promote CareerLink.
Continuing Education
Help the CBC/continuing education committee by being a guest speaker for our study sessions or helping to promote this valuable program.
Electronic Media
Assist the web chair with the continual enhancements to our web site. This committee works on strategy and planning as well as maintenance to our web site.
Gold Key
The Gold Key team needs help in producing our annual major awards event each spring. This committee helps with the site selection, creative process, award criteria and judging, and all the details that go along with a first-class event.
Golf Tournament
This annual event also raises much needed funds for our educational and scholarship programs. We need help soliciting donations, coordinating volunteers, night of the event assistance, etc.
Media Donations
The Media Donations Chair assists the Winterfest Auction Chair by recruiting and securing media donations from publishers to sell at the Auction. The donations can be solicited year-round and sold year-round.
Membership
Membership can use your help to plan and implement acquisition programs as well as retention programs, as well as help with our annual membership directory (design, printing, ad sales) and representing BMA at trade shows, etc.
Newsletters
We are looking for writers interested in contributing original content for publication in the MARCOM Mirror, as well as assistance in identifying potential advertisers for our publication, and for writers interested in contributing to our two pages in AMR (BMA Today).
Programs
We welcome your input in selecting qualified speakers (local and national) to share their expertise at our monthly meetings and seminars, as well as our morning roundtables.
Promotions
Promotions needs assistance in locating creative talent and printers for our materials.
Public Relations
Help us spread the BMA message to the local media.
Sponsorships
This committee recruits companies for meeting sponsorships and other special events.
Student Membership
Join the Student Committee to promote our student chapter membership, our annual student scholarship program, and our internship program.
Winterfest Auction
This November fund-raising event annually raises needed funds for our scholarships and educational programs. We need help soliciting donations, coordinating volunteers, night of the event assistance, etc.
