Networking Opportunities
BMA offers a number of opportunities throughout the year to network with business professionals. Every second Wednesday of the month (September through April), BMA hosts a professional speaker to discuss current topics effecting our marketing industry.
Who Attends BMA Meetings?
Professionals and students who specialize in business-to-business marketing, advertising, journalism, and communications attend BMA meetings. The more than 300 members of our local chapter live and work in Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, Colorado Springs and points in between. We work as marketing communications managers at local companies, as account managers in advertising agencies, as consultants and writers, and in a variety of occupations related to marketing products and services from one business to another.
Networking Opportunities Become Abundant
BMA strongly emphasizes the benefits of networking for students and professional marketers. Monthly meetings begin with an informal cocktail hour, or networking session, which presents the opportunity to "catch up" with colleagues in the industry while maintaining the positive relationships that continually prove valuable in the marketing field.
For students, networking provides an opportunity to meet those working in the industry you are studying, learn more about a marketing topic currently affecting our industry, make life-long contacts, and establish valuable contacts which often lead to job opportunities.
