Rich Carvill of True Vine Marketing Communications
Rich Carvill, maximus presidentia, is the recipient of this year's President's Award, given in recognition of service this past year to the BMA Colorado chapter. Rich was instrumental in leading a team of volunteers for a big "first" for the chapter - the publishing of the book, Advice from the Top - the Expert Guide to B2B Marketing. This book is a first for any chapter in BMA, and Rich's leadership has elevated the chapter to a new level. By Rich's best estimate, 5,000 hours went into this ground-breaking book.
Rich has dedicated his entire career to business-to-business marketing. He has more than 25 years of corporate experience, including 20 years directing advertising and marketing departments. Rich's most recent corporate role was at Gates Corporation in Denver, where he led Advertising, Marketing and Global Branding teams prior to founding his own business, True Vine Marketing Communications, in January 2009.
Through his work with True Vine, Rich is focused on helping clients leverage their brands for healthy growth. This is accomplished through identity-based brand strategy, creative messaging and offer development, and traditional and online marketing campaigns.
Rich as a BA in Advertising from the University of Maine and is a Certified Business Communications (C.B.C.). He served as President of the BMA Colorado Board in 1999-2000 and is currently serving as BMA Colorado's V.P. of Education.Rich was BMA Colorado's Communicator of the Year in 2008.
