Breakfast Roundtable: The Ideation Process

The Ideation Process - Thinking Creatively

Ideation (noun): the process of forming and relating ideas.

Everyone’s capable of good ideas.
Together, groups of people are capable of producing great ideas.
Getting collective groups to agree can be challenging.

When beginning the creative process, ideation can give structure to a group and allow free thinking to begin. Ideation used, as a tool is not limited solely to creative professionals, creative thinking can aid any business, and bring excitement and passion to your process and projects. Through this, you gain an emotional attachment to your objective(s) that allows you to discover the story you want to tell. The easy answer is not always the best one. Through ideation, you push through the clutter and uncover a solution that works.

Join Steve Riggins, Creative Director at Proctor Productions, for this interactive breakfast roundtable on the Ideation Process.

You will:

  • Explore the process of ideation
  • Discuss how to overcome creative blocks
  • Learn how to take all of your newfound creativity and define a direction
  • Have a good time doing it

Continental breakfast is included. Roundtables are limited to the first 20 participants, so as to promote interactive discussion.

With over 15 years of experience in the visual communication and experiential design industry, Steve is an advocate for ideation and creative research, and a lover of changing the way people think.
