BMA National Telecast and Lunch: Digital Deliverance

Understanding digital’s rapidly growing role in engaging b-to-b constituencies

If you could hear from a handful of companies at the forefront of digital engagement of key audiences, chances are that Cisco, GE and IBM would be at the top of your wish list.

Your wish comes true on Wednesday, October 13, when national BMA chairman Gary Slack will moderate a 90-minute, nationally telecast panel discussion at the Denver Athletic Club with:

  • Linda Boff, Global Director, Marketing Communications, GE
  • Ben Edwards, Vice President of Digital Strategy and Development, IBM
  • Mike Metz, Senior Director Web Marketing and Strategy, Cisco

Mike, Linda and Ben lead digital strategy and marketing at their respective firms. They have generously agreed to collaborate with BMA on what will be a riveting, wide-ranging discussion.

During this in-depth panel, you will learn about:

  • The digital ecosystems at Cisco, GE and IBM
  • Why and how digital has become a primary marketing platform
  • How digital techniques are enhancing customer engagement and loyalty
  • How digital supports demand generation from the top to the bottom of the b-to-b sales funnel

In addition, you will learn about the latest at Cisco, GE and IBM on these specific fronts:

  • Digital content and collaboration
  • Expert and other types of web communities
  • Digital tools for the sales force
  • Mining customer web behavior to deliver personalized Web experiences
  • Social media strategy
  • Mobile and mobile apps
  • SEO, SEM and analytics

As the second of two national BMA telecast panels this year, the October 13 panel session will be telecast live from Denver to BMA chapters and members across the country.

In contrast to normal BMA Colorado lunch programs, the 90-minute telecast panel will begin promptly at 11:00 am (with doors opening at 10:30 am) and end at 12:30 pm MST, followed by lunch.

Q&A Session
BMA intends to carve out at least 30 minutes for audience Q&A (both from the live Denver audience and online from our global audience). We will ask panel members to keep their answers brief so we can address as many questions as possible.

Please feel free to submit questions in advance to Marilee Yorchak at [email protected].
