Level 3 Communications Wins Best of Show and Anthony Christie, CMO of Level 3 Communications, Named Business Marketer of the Year

Denver, Colo. — May 04, 2015 — Business Marketing Association Colorado (BMA Colorado) announced the 2015 Gold Key Award winners during its gala at Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Friday, May 1.  BMA Colorado presented a total of 86 awards for outstanding business-to-business marketing, including 31 Gold Awards, 50 Silver Awards, and five "Best of" Awards. 

The night’s accolades also included calling out two outstanding individuals: Anthony Christie, Chief Marketing Officer for Level 3 Communications, was recognized as the 2015 Business Marketer of the Year and Marcy Phelps, president of Phelps Research, received The President's Award for her dedication and impact on BMA Colorado. 

Level 3 Communications won Best of Show for its "Day One" event. Others receiving a Best of award included:

  • Best Creative - Condit for "The Condit Creative Campground B2B Branded Environment"
  • Best Results - Big Footprint for "Own" Temporary Structures and Drive Leads
  • Best Strategy - Gates Corporation for The $2B Project Campaign
  • Best Production – Level 3 Communications for the Level3 "Day One" Event

The Gold Key Awards have been recognized as Colorado’s most prestigious competition dedicated solely to business-to-business marketing communications for over 30 years. This year’s program received 200 submissions from some of the state’s top B2B businesses and agencies. A panel of five independent judges representing agency and corporate marketing professionals across the country scored entries in more than 65 categories based on objectives, creativity, production, and results.
